Endurance is a scary word. It usually means that there will be difficulties ahead that will make us want to lose heart and quit. Being a disciple of Jesus requires endurance, and one of the difficulties we will certainly face is the oppression of wicked people because of our faith. Several weeks ago, Pastor Dave taught us Psalm 73, which gives us a heavenly perspective on these situations. Psalm 37 takes that perspective and gives us four ways to respond so that we can             joyfully endure the earthly difficulties as the Lord brings us to our heavenly home. This morning, we will look at Psalm 37,  giving special attention to verses 1-11, to discover these responses. Prayerfully ask the Lord to prepare your heart with its truths so you can honor Him when your difficulties arrive.
