Based on Ephesians 4:1-16 and 1 Corinthians 12, we believe three important truths:

1.The church family grows in love when every member gives their gifts and abilities to the church.

2. Our Lord Jesus has given gifts and abilities to every member of His church family.

3. The Holy Spirit enables members to effectively give their gifts and abilities to bless the church.

Because we believe these three things to be true, we aim to help each member of SHBC discover his/her gifts and abilities and connect them to opportunities to use those gifts and abilities to grow the church in love.
